Rochelle salt - E337

The history of Rochelle Salt goes back to the French chemist Pierre Seignette, who discovered it already in 1672. Said with the correct chemical name of potassium sodium tartrate tetrahydrate, the salt of tartaric acid is also called "Rochellais salt," according to the site of discovery in La Rochelle.

Like all our products, our Rochelle salt originates from the pure natural wine aging process.
